Mountain Bike & Hike for FREE when camping! *

eXplore Brown County campground is a shaded, secluded, wooded area within the facility. The campground has a selection of primitive and full hook-up campsites allowing room for all sizes of RV’s, campers, tents, and camping styles. Group sites include two primitive tent areas and two with electric and water. Each group site can accommodate up to 20 people. 


The campground features 36 sites:  

  • 15 primitive tent
  • 6 full hook-up | electric (30 amp), water & sewer | Water is shut off from November 1 - April 1
  • 10 hook-up | electric (30 amp) and water | Water is shut off from November 1 - April 1
  • Water is available to fill tanks and our restroom/shower facility is open year round.
  • Free Dump station and WIFI

Group sites:

  • 2 primitive tent
  • 2 with 110 v electric and water


Groups must call or email for a quote request. Each additional person camping in a registered camp site and ALL VISITORS  must sign in at the office prior to entering the campground. Please contact us at groups@explorebrowncounty.com for details.

All sites are within walking distance of restrooms and showers located in our Harvest Hall. Also nearby is our 4 acre fishing lake. Portable restrooms are within the campground. Activities include hiking, biking, fishing, and boating. Campers assume all risk while participating in these activities. Pets are not permitted in the campground or on XBC property. Fishing is catch and release only. Canoe and Rowboat rentals are available through Harvest Hall office.

Bring Your Tiny Home!

We are excited to announce that we are fully capable of hosting your tiny house! Join our community as we help you pick the perfect site for your home. We can power your home through our 30 amp electric hook-up and can provide water to your home as well! Some sites also have a sewer line hook-up if your home is compatible. Can you imagine yourself nestled in our small valley with a running creek by your home in the spring and all the colors of fall surrounding you; then cozying up next to a fire in winter?
