The rustic elegance of The Gallery, with original paintings by Patricia Rhoden Bartels, seats up to 200 and has a covered porch for up to 50 additional guests. A full onsite prep kitchen, outdoor Pagoda, and gas fire pit sitting area are just a few of the amenities available.
The Gallery is furnished with tables, chairs, bar area, stage, dance floor, and a fireplace. Upstairs has additional seating and a separate large room that can be used for corporate meetings or grooms room. In addition, there is a Newlywed Suite with bridal party makeup vanities.
Our barn wood stage with natural amphitheater accommodates events up to 600 guests.
The Stage has electric, water, portable restrooms, and food truck parking. The surrounding campsites are available for staging, vendors, or event staff. The natural amphitheater provides excellent seating and acoustics. Request a quote groups@explorebrowncounty.com

Pick from one of our camping cabins, glamping vintage campers, or bring your own RV, motorhome, tent, etc. We can accommodate them all!
Maybe you and your friends want to soar through the trees zip lining. Maybe your group wants to take an adventure ride on our side by side buggies through the woods. Or maybe you're looking to take some stress out on your family playing paintball or arrow tag. Whatever the occasion, eXplore Brown County can provide a nice distraction whether it's before, or after your special event.
You'll be hard pressed to find a more beautiful setting for your special event. We have 30 miles of trails that you are free to use. You're welcome to hike, rent a mountain bike from Q's Bikes (or rent your own), heck, we've seen someone on the trails with an electric unicycle! Rent one of our boats or bring your own and a enjoy a peaceful day in our lake. eXplore Brown County is the perfect place to forest bathe in the woods!
Catering
We can assist you in planning your event by offering catered food and beverage services. Alcohol is permitted inside the Gallery
(Renter must assume all liability and responsibility and maintain the alcohol in a private setting, and not have alcohol exposed to the general public. Indiana state laws relating to the distribution and consumption of alcohol must be strictly followed. Valley Branch Retreat Inc. is not authorized by the State of Indiana to handle alcoholic beverages.)
Billing Policies
The Gallery is rented and secured on a first come, first serve basis. Rental deposit fees must be paid in advance; non-payment will result in cancellation. Tax exempt groups must provide a copy of their Indiana General Sales Tax Exempt Certificate with the signed contract. Valley Branch Retreat Inc. assumes no responsibility for accidents, injuries, damages, and Valley Branch Retreat assumes no responsibility for lost or stolen items at the facility.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi is available at the Gallery, as well as outside most of our cabins, front porches, the outside front porch of the Galley, and limited through the campground at no charge, no password.
Please note that we are not responsible for electrical or water outages due to acts of God, and there are no refunds based on weather.
